COMPOSITION
Antigen:
Inactivated Foot and Mouth Disease Virus containing a combination of any type of 5 serotypes appropriate to the region. Type SAT 1, Type SAT 2, Type SAT 3, type O, Type A
Adjuvants:
Aluminium hydroxide and saponin
INDICATIONS
The vaccination of cattle, buffalo, sheep and goats against Foot and Mouth Disease
ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE
- Shake well before use.
- Strickly Subcutaneous route.
- Dose: regardless of the age and weight of the animal, refer to the label on the container according to the following schedule:
Primary course of vaccination:
Two injections, 3 to 4 weeks apart, starting at two weeks of age for young animals from unvaccinated dams or 2.5 months of age for young animals from unvaccinated dams. In case of epizootics the first injection should be given to all animals as early as 2 weeks of age.
Boosters:
Normally, boosters should be given every 4-to-6 months depending on the epizootiological situation and in accordance with local legislation.

None
PRECAUTIONS
Vaccinate only healthy animals
Observe usual aseptic conditions. Once opened, bottles of vaccines should be used within 24 hours provided they have been stored between +2°C and 8°C.
SIDE EFFECTS
Vaccination may be followed by a small local swelling and/ or slight pyrexia both of short duration.
WITHDRAWAL TIME
Nil
STORAGE
Store between +2°C and 8°C, protected from the light. Do not freeze.
